Who we are
We combine design, motion and code to build websites considered down to the detail, that load instantly. From launch sites to online shops, we make work that people remember, for companies in Italy and abroad.
One thread, from the first sketch to the site going live.
What we do
Services
- 01
Web design
Identity-led design for sites that need to be remembered, not just visited.
- 02
Web development
Next.js, TypeScript and headless CMS. Fast by construction, easy to edit.
- 03
Search and AI visibility
Technical SEO and structured data so Google and AI assistants can find, read and recommend you.
- 04
E-commerce
Headless Shopify storefronts that feel as good as they sell.
Live demos
Demos
Six example sites, one per kind of business. They are real demos. Open one, scroll it, use it, all inside our own site.
Made-up businesses: the names, prices and copy are invented, the code and the design are not.
The studio
Small on purpose
formato24 is a small Italian studio that works entirely online. Small means you talk to the people doing the work, decisions take hours instead of weeks, and nothing gets lost between a strategist, an account manager and a junior. We take on a limited number of projects a year, for clients in Italy and abroad, in Italian and English.
- 01
Senior only
The people you talk to are the people who design and build your site.
- 02
Code, not themes
Every project is written from scratch in Next.js and TypeScript.
- 03
Made in Italy
Based in Italy, working in Italian and English with clients anywhere.
Process
How a project goes
Five steps, usually six to ten weeks. You see progress every week, on a real URL, not in a slide deck.
- 01
Listen
Week 1A call and a short brief. We learn the business, the audience and what the site must achieve. You get a fixed quote and a date.
- 02
Direction
Weeks 2–3Two distinct visual directions on your real content, not lorem ipsum. You choose one; we refine it.
- 03
Design
Weeks 3–5Every page and state designed in detail, including motion. You review it in the browser, on your own phone.
- 04
Build
Weeks 5–8Hand-written Next.js, connected to a CMS you can actually use. Performance, accessibility and search handled as we go.
- 05
Launch and after
Week 9 onwardWe deploy, monitor, fix and train your team. Then we stay available, for the changes and for whatever comes next.
